Scout Trip Day 6

Day 6 in the Maine back country, Thursday, and I imagine we might begin heading back today. It should be another beautiful day according to the forecast and we will be on the water all day hoping to see some moose or bear or any time of wildlife. I’m sure we have seen plenty by this point and might have even seen a moose. The bugs are unrelenting I imagine, but we all have head nets and full length shirts and pants to protect against them. By this point I can imagine I want my own bed instead of a sleeping pad on the hard ground, but I wouldn’t trade any of this for the experience we are getting.
