Scout Trip Day 7

1–2 minutes

To read

Its now Friday and our last full day on the water. Its been fun speculating on what we will see and do. I know we will be having fun, struggling some, but persevering as we conquer any obstacles we may face. Maybe today we do a little white water canoeing. I know the scouts had talked about that a little. It still remains to be seen what we will do. As this day comes to an end, I hope to reflect with the scouts on what we have accomplished, what we have experience, and their thoughts on how it went. I anticipate with our plentiful preparation that we will be ready for anything. I hope I’m right and can come home satisfied that we did everything properly, or at least fixed quickly that which didn’t. Maybe some scouts flipped their canoe. Maybe someone forgot to close their tent flap fully and mosquitoes feasted on them. It’ll happen so quickly, I plan on living in the moment and enjoying everything that comes our way, struggle or joy, accomplishments all.
