Scout Trip Day 8

1–2 minutes

To read

Saturday and the day we return to base camp. Our canoes and bodies are worn down, but nothing broken. Our egos have been checked and validated hopefully. Half rain, half sun, we have all come out of this experience in one piece but more full of new memories than any of us have recently experienced. Its been a great week and I can’t wait for the dinner that the staff will be cooking for us tonight. We will check in our gear, take nice hot showers, and relax amongst the company of friends before returning home tomorrow.
