Well, back from a week of vacation only to turn around in a day and head to scout camp with my whole family. It’s the time we spend with our kids that matter, that will leave a lasting impression as they get older. I’ll be slammed this week helping with a couple different merit badges and ensuring all the scouts remain safe. It’ll be tiring, but it will be fun. As such, I’m going to postpone my writing for a week and resume next Monday. Please check back in then.
Currently, I am enjoying the quietest part of the day. I woke up at five and headed to the waterfront, waking my son up in the way, to write in my journal before the rest of the scouts wake up and flood the camp with noise; not bad noise, just a lot of it as 180 scouts mingle, shout, play games, and have fun.
